A Wireroom Tech is responsible for wrapping, tying, and placing materials onto the respective reels in the wireroom. A Wireroom Tech should be able to multitask and should work efficiently independently or in a team setting. A current health card is required, and no history of drug or alcohol abuse is allowed.Responsibilities:Wrap, tie, and place materials onto respective reelsShort and place materials onto racksEnsure proper technique and procedures are followed in wire-cutting machine areasEnsure wire-cutting machines cut and measure wire correctlyMonitor machine controls and ensure wire thickness, pressure, cutting,



and striping length is accurateAssist in keeping wire room inventory accurate and stored properlyPerform daily housekeeping to warehouse and wireroomsAdhere to safety rules as provided in the Inline Electric Supply Safety HandbookPerform all other duties as assigned by department manager or leadership teamRequired Skills:Able to work independently or in a team settingProblem-solving skillsAbility to multitaskEducation and Experience:High school diploma or equivalentValid driver's license with approved clean driver vehicle reportForklift certification is preferred but not requiredNo history of drug or alcohol abuseProvide current health cardPhysical Requirements:Ability to sit, stand, and walk for prolonged periods of timeAbility to lift, push, pull, and carry 5 lbs. or more
