Identify opportunities, challenges,



and proactive solutions to support the educational needs and requirements with respect to new workflows and policiesSupport with accreditation activities and initiatives from an education perspectiveSupports staff and acts as a resource in identifying and meeting their own learning needsCoordinates student clinical placements in conjunction with Department Managers and educational institutionsCreate learning environments that support professional growth and accountability in a variety of settings (clinical, classroom, simulation, etc.)Monitor and evaluate integration of learning into clinical practice for example: through documentation audits, review of use of learning management system by nursing teams.Partner with members of the management team to establish recommendations and plan for improvement and/or achievement of clinical excellencePromote staff well-being through mental health education, debriefing and other supports.Design content that optimizes adult learning principles and variety of formats to address needs of diverse learnersQualificationsBachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred (or in progress)Current registration with the College of Nurses of OntarioCompletion of Fundamentals of Palliative Care, LEAP, and/or CAPCE2+ years' experience in a nursing educator role required, preferredConsultative, team-based management style with strong problem-solving skillsExcellent Nursing Skills and ability to learn and teach new clinical procedures (wound care, palliative care,
