Pillar5 Pharma is seeking an experienced HVAC/Facilities Specialist to support the design, operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of cleanroom HVAC systems and facility infrastructure within our regulated manufacturing workplace. This role will serve as a technical lead and owner's representative, working closely with internal stakeholders, contractors, and external engineering consultants to ensure systems are compliant with GMP, ISO cleanroom standards, and operational requirements.RESPONSIBILITIES:Review and approve HVAC system designs, calculations, and drawings from external engineering consultantsEnsure compliance withISO cleanroom standards, GMP, and ASHRAE guidelinesEvaluate airflow, pressure cascades, temperature, and humidity control strategiesSupport commissioning, qualification, and validation activitiesAct as the primary interface between internal teams and external engineering partnersReview technical submittals, design changes, and deviationsSupport installation, commissioning, and handover of systemsEnsure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and compliantSupport facility upgrades, expansions, and infrastructure projectsCoordinate permits, inspections,



and regulatory approvalsDevelop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programsEnsure compliance withGMP, ISO, safety, and environmental regulationsQUALIFICATIONSMechanical Engineering degree or related field, with experience in HVAC systems.5+ years of experience with HVAC systems (design, operation, or maintenance).Experience in cleanroom or regulated environments preferred (pharma, biotech, semiconductor, etc.)Strongexpertisein airflow, filtration, and environmental control strategies.Experience with BMS/SCADA systems (e.G., Siemens)Proven ability to review engineering drawings and challenge design decisionsHands-on experience with troubleshooting and root cause analysisCOMPENSATION:The salary range: $80,000 - $110,000annuallyThis posting is for an existing vacancy.
