Prasad and Company LLP is a growing team looking for a Senior Tax Accountant to join our tax department.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review Canadian tax engagements, including corporate tax returns, T1/T3 filings, tax provisions, and year‑end reporting (T4s/T5s), ensuring compliance with government standards and internal quality expectations.Support Senior Tax Managers with corporate reorganizations, tax‑free rollovers, and engagement planning projects.Review legal and corporate documents to identify tax issues and opportunities.Communicate with clients and tax authorities on compliance matters.Prepare technical reports, correspondence,



and client summaries.Review work prepared by junior team members and provide feedback.Identify tax‑planning opportunities and support implementation of strategies.Support process improvement and contribute to team development.QualificationsCPA designation (in positive standing with CPA Ontario).Completion or enrollment in the In‑Depth Tax Program and/or MTax (asset).Minimum 3+ years in public accounting in a tax‑focused role.Solid knowledge of Canadian corporate, partnership, and personal tax.Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Working experience with CaseWare and a tax preparation software (essential).Working knowledge of Karbon is considered an asset.Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.Compensation and benefitsThe current salary range for this role is $100,000–$120,000.
