The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems on residential and commercial properties. This position offers an opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic environment with a focus on quality craftsmanship.DutiesInstall built-up roofing systems using materials such as asphalt saturated felts and hot asphalt and gravelInstall or replace asphalt shingles, wood shingles and shakes and masonry or baked clay roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildingsRepair or replace shingles and shakes on sloped roofs of buildingsRepair or replace single-ply roofing systemsInstall and repair metal roofs using hand and power toolsInstall sheet metal flashingsLoad, unload and transport construction materialsFollow emergency and safety proceduresExperiencePrior experience working on shingled roofsPrior experience with hand tools, construction, or carpentry is preferredKnowledge of blueprint reading is a plus for understanding project specificationsHandyman experience that demonstrates versatility in building or repair work is advantageousFamiliarity with caulking techniques and heavy lifting requirements is beneficialPrevious work involving roofing installation or repair will be considered an assetThis position is ideal for individuals who are physically fit,



detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality work. It is physically demanding, involving bending crouching, kneeling and handling heavy loads. Candidates should be comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions, performing repetitive tasks and working under pressure. A solid work ethic combined with safety awareness is essential for success in this role.
