We're looking for an energetic and enthusiasticSoccer Development Officerto take a lead role in coaching, session oversight, coach training, and program development. The ideal candidate is an experienced coach who is equally comfortable running engaging youth sessions, mentoring new coaches, and collaborating with our management team to ensure high-quality programming. You'll play a key role in shaping both the coach and player experience, ensuring our programs remain organized, fun, and impactful.ResponsibilitiesLead engaging soccer sessions for children aged 18 months to 13 years, tailored to age and skill levelSupervise and mentor a team of part time and seasonal coaches to ensure program quality and safetyOversee session setup, event operations,



and daily programmingProvide on-field and off-field training to coaching staffAct as the primary liaison between front-line coaches and the management teamCommunicate regularly with management to support operational needs and coach developmentExcellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with children and deliver feedback to parentsAvailability on weekday evenings (between 4pm - 8pm) and/or weekends (between 9am - 12pm on Saturday/ Sunday)Passionate about working with and engaging young childrenAvailable to work through Summer and Winter seasonsIdeal Experience / QualificationsExperience working with children ages 2 – 12 years oldPreference for experienced soccer coaches who are able to work with both Toddler and Youth agesExperience with other types of young child sports organizations (SportBall, City Camps, Pedalheads, etc.) or soccer environments (Little Kickers, Timbits Soccer, House Leagues, etc.)Coaching certification (Active Start, FUNdamentals, Learn to Train, etc.) is an assetCompensationCompensation: $24 - $27 p/h#J-18808-Ljbffr
