Knowledge about health and safety regulations is a must.ResponsibilitiesPlan recruitment strategiesExecute the recruitment strategies on the orders to be filledConduct the initial screening interviews, telephone interviews, and/or face-to-face interviews with the prospective applicantIdentify potential clients in the target market and complete appropriate research on the prospective client's business and equipment needsUtilize various resources – internet, community organizations, print media, formal/informal networks, colleges, trade associations – to, directly and indirectly, source qualified candidatesDevelop relationships with prospective clients, while maintaining existing client relationshipsStrategize own ways to create resources to find potential candidatesAssist in ensuring the maintenance of accurate and concise records and reports concerning the recruitment process,



working within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and HRIS tools used at Merit ServicesMaintain compliance with federal, provincial, and state regulations concerning employment (verifying SIN/, payroll information, verifying IDs, etc.)Provide on-site safety reviews and auditsConduct a seamless orientation and onboarding for external and internal candidatesAssist with maintaining timesheetsPartner with sales teams (Head office) to create contract-winning proposals for current and prospective clientsNegotiate contract terms with clients and communicate terms to stakeholdersBecome a subject matter expert on our business services, processes, and operations, and remain up to date on industry newsQualificationsSound knowledge of Health and safety regulationsProficient with Microsoft OfficeAbility to learn current applications and techniques quickly and effectively.
