Additionally, McAsphalt provides comprehensive services and technology solutions, encompassing paving, testing, research and development, engineering, and consulting.Job PurposeThe Administrative Assistant & Scale Operator performs administrative and office support activities for different departments. Depending on the location/department they are hired for, duties may include fielding telephone calls, receiving and directing visitors, word processing, creating spreadsheets and data entry, and filing.Main Duties and ResponsibilitiesAnswer and redirect phone callsProduce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and formsAssist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reportsProvide information by answering questions and requestsHandle multiple projectsCarry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning,
etc.Write letters and emails on behalf of other office staffHandle sensitive information in a confidential mannerReply to email, telephone, or face‐to‐face inquiriesResolve administrative problemsReceive, sort, and distribute the mailGreet and assist visitors to the officeProvide polite and professional communicationConduct data entryOrganize, store and print company documents as neededProcessing sales ticketsCompleting customs paperworkOrganize and document incoming chequesResponsible for shipping and receiving courier packagesMaintain a filing system for data on employee, customers, external partners, and facility contact listsHandle queries from managers and employeesOther duties as requiredRequired QualificationsProven admin or assistant experienceKnowledge of office management systems and proceduresExcellent time management skills and ability to multi‐task and prioritize workAttention to detail and problem solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational and planning skillsProficient in MS OfficeAt least 2‐4 years of experience in the field or in a related areaHigh school diploma or equivalentThe MCA AdvantageSAFETY is not a priority, it's a VALUE at McAsphalt.
