Hyfluence builds specialized hydrogen refueling infrastructure for industrial vehicle applications — precision equipment that matters. We are looking for an experienced and hands‐on Shop Foreman to join our growing manufacturing team. This is primarily a working technician role — you'll spend most of your time on the floor building and testing our industrial hydrogen refueling equipment alongside the team. In addition to your technical contributions, you'll take ownership of day‐to‐day team coordination, quality consistency, and shop readiness, working closely with our project management office to keep production moving and aligned to plan. If you're someone who is highly organized, takes pride in their work, leads by example, and wants to help shape how a production floor runs, we'd like to hear from you.Duties and ResponsibilitiesTechnical (Primary)Assembling high-pressure tubing and specialized electro‐mechanical process control components, including valves and fittingsFabricating brackets, stands and other custom‐designed metal componentsSafely conducting pressure and leak testing of completed assembliesTesting supplied components for quality and conformanceCompleting production records including inspection test reports and material traceability logsPreparing finished equipment for shipmentMaintaining a clean and protected working environmentSupervisory and CoordinationCoordinating day‐to‐day work assignments across the production team,



aligned with manufacturing plans and priorities set by the project management officeMonitoring production progress and proactively addressing obstacles, bottlenecks or technical issues to keep builds on scheduleEnsuring consistency and quality across all manufacturing processes, reinforcing standards and best practices on the floorMaintaining the readiness of tools, equipment and the shop facility, including coordinating preventive maintenance and managing shop suppliesSupporting onboarding and practical skills development of technicians as the team growsServing as the primary point of escalation for day‐to‐day technical and operational issues on the floorSkills And Experience — RequiredPost‐secondary technical educationStrong mechanical assembly experience (pressure systems, piping, skids in a manufacturing or industrial assembly environment, with a track record of quality and reliabilityDemonstrated ability to read mechanical engineering drawings including process and instrumentation drawings.Basic electrical awareness (panels, instrumentation, safe handling)Prior experience in a lead, senior, or supervisory capacity — formal or informalStrong verbal communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable giving direction and coordinating a small teamStrong attention to process, detail and production documentationSelf‐directed and organized, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‐paced build environmentSkills And Experience — PreferredExperience with pipefitting and/or compression fittingsExperience in steel fabrication techniques (welding, machining, forming, cutting, grinding, etc.)Experience working with pressurized gases or fluids; hydrogen experience is a strong assetUnderstanding of hazardous area requirementsSolid working knowledge of safety regulations and WHMISFamiliarity with production planning, work order systems or manufacturing documentation workflowsExperience working in an ISO workplace
