Position:INTERMEDIATE ELECTRICAL ENGINEER/TECHNOLOGISTLead and support electrical engineering designs for Municipal Electrical team. Projects are primarily focused on: Water and Wastewater Treatment facilities, Pumping Stations, and Lift Stations.Prepare detailed design documents including calculations, reports, drawings, and specifications.Primarily design electrical power systems up to 750V.Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in project meetings.Conduct site assessments and construction reviews to verify compliance with design requirements.Assist with project planning, scheduling, cost estimates, and client communications.Lead and direct in office commissioning.PrerequisitesFamiliarity in the following categories is a requirement:Industrial power systems (MCCs, VFDs,



ATS etc.)Standby generators and backup powerUnderstanding of PLC and controls systemsStrong understanding of relay logic and control wiringExperience with instrumentation equipment (Flow, Pressure, and Analytical Equipment etc.)Commissioning and testing of the power and controls systemsStrong understanding of Canadian Electrical Code, National Building Code and applicable industry standards.Minimum of 5 years of experience in Municipal Water and Wastewater industry or industrial facilities.Certifications (1 of the following):Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or diploma in related discipline.Registered with APEGA or ASET.P.Eng or P.Tech.(Eng.) certification is required.Electrician or Instrumentation CertificateAdditional Skills that would be HelpfulExperience with drafting or modelling software: AutoCAD, Revit, Plant3D, Solid Works etc.Experience with SKM and/or ETAP#J-18808-Ljbffr
