This role is vital in ensuring the productive handling, transportation, and delivery of furniture products to our valued customers. The job is split between both deliveries and warehouse work where you will take part in assembly, receiving containers, loading our transfer trucks and other general warehouse duties. We operate our warehouse Monday through Saturday and deliveries occur Tuesday through Saturday.What You'll DoSafely load and unload furniture items using appropriate equipmentDeliver furniture to customers' locations accurately and on schedule, following designated routesAssist customers with product placement and setup upon delivery, ensuring satisfactionPerform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety complianceOperate commercial vehicles including box trucks with manual transmissions,



adhering to all traffic lawsLoad and secure furniture items properly to prevent damage during transitMaintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch and customersAssist in warehouse organization, inventory management, and stock replenishmentUse manual handling techniques for heavy lifting and moving furniture safelyFollow safety protocols diligently during all warehouse activities and deliveriesWhat We're Looking ForProven experience in warehouse operations, delivery driving, or related roles involving furniture or heavy goodsValid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks with manual transmission preferredDemonstrated ability in customer service, providing professional assistance during deliveriesFamiliarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucksAbility to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks regularlyStrong knowledge of route driving, load & unload procedures, and safety standardsPrior experience with courier or delivery driver roles is highly desirableExcellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team membersAbility to work independently while managing time efficiently in a fast-paced environmentThis position is an excellent fit for motivated individuals eager to deliver exceptional service while developing their skills in logistics and warehousing.
