and maintaining Voith Hydrodynamic and Geared Industrial productsProviding preventative maintenance, emergency repairs, and technical support servicesPreparing detailed service reports, maintenance analyses, and failure investigationsDelivering exceptional customer support in person, by phone, and via emailDetermining scope of work, parts requirements, and tooling needsAssisting the quotation process by providing estimates for labor duration and expensesCoordinating service schedules and arranging support from additional field service representatives as requiredSupporting the inside and outside sales teams with technical expertiseCompleting expense reports, timesheets, and documentation to facilitate timely customer invoicingEnsuring strict compliance with all Voith safety standards, procedures, and operational directivesParticipating in special projects and assignments as requiredWhat We're Looking ForEducationPost-secondary education in a mechanical field is considered an assetRed Seal certification or equivalent trade qualification is requiredExperienceMinimum of 5 years of field service experience in a similar industry involving mechanical rotating equipmentExperience with PLC controls is considered an assetVibration analysis experience is considered an assetSkills And QualificationsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to communicate technical information clearly through service reports and customer interactionsStrong customer service orientation and relationship‐building skillsConfident and effective decision‐making abilitiesAbility to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and schematicsFully fluent in English; French language skills are considered an assetProficiency with Microsoft Office applicationsAbility to lift and carry up to 50 lbs (23 kg)Travel and Working ConditionsAvailability to work overtime when requiredTravel throughout Canada and occasional international travelAbility to complete customer‐specific safety training and site access requirementsCompany‐provided in‐house technical training and developmentWhy Join Voith?At Voith, you'll become part of a global organization known for its technical expertise, innovation, and commitment to safety.
