For those who are driven by a desire to make tangible impact in a thriving industry, Vacutrux offers the ideal workplace to grow and succeed.Job DescriptionResponsible for ensuring accurate and seamless reception and processing of incoming shipments, as well as outgoing shipments.Safe use of forklift to unload and load shipmentsReceive incoming packages and perform inspections of goods received.Sort, distribute and put away incoming shipmentsReview orders prior to processing.



Note any discrepancies and bring them to the attention of the production managerPick and pack parts and materials for shippingPrepare all necessary documentation for shipments not limited to but including shipping labels, Bills of Lading, customs documents etc.Review all necessary paperwork to ensure information included with the shipment is accurate to not impede the delivery process or cause uncertainty at the Customer's receiving locationWork closely with the Production Manager and Purchaser to ensure accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and auditsSkills the ideal candidate has include:Ability to operate forklifts, cranes and other material handling equipmentEffective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organizationWorking experience in Shipping and Receiving role preferredHigh attention to detail with ability to work independentlyKnowledge of major couriers – FedEx, Purolator, UPS etc. including how to operate their respective software packagesThis position is permanent full-time with advantages and employer sponsored RRSP plan.Dental careDisability insuranceExtended health careVision careSchedule:Monday to Thursday 7am-4:30pm, Friday 7am-3pm
