This vacancy is a full-time, permanent opportunity. The Manager, TBS Accounting & Reporting, is responsible for the accuracy and timely delivery of The Beer Store (TBS) financial statements and shareholder reporting, ensuring compliance with company policies and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). This role manages the accounting and financial close process (month end, quarter end and year end) including reviewing and validating journal entries and reconciliations and resolving any issues. TBS Accounting & Reporting leads the preparation of the annual financial statements, including accompanying note disclosures, as well as providing support for annual financial statement audits, internal audit engagements and other operational reviews. This role leads and mentors Senior Accountants and represents the TBS Accounting & Reporting team in cross functional projects and corporate initiatives. Location Our Corporate Office is currently located in Bolton, ON. We offer a hybrid work model requiring a minimum of three in-office days per week and on an as-needed basis depending on the role and function. As part of our continued growth, we are relocating our Corporate Office to Milton, ON with a planned entry at the end of 2027. Employees in this role will be expected to work from the Milton location once the transition is complete. What You’ll Be Doing Oversee the month‑end financial close for The Beer Store, coordinating with Retail, Logistics, and Corporate teams to ensure all deliverables are completed accurately and within established timelines Ensure all accounting and reporting is in accordance with TBS financial policies and processes and in compliance with internal controls Maintain the integrity of the general ledger, chart of accounts and cost centres, approve changes to hierarchy and create new accounts as required Review and approve all journal entries posted to the general ledger, ensuring completeness and accuracy Review and manage fixed asset and right-of-use asset ledgers ensuring accuracy and completeness Review and approve balance sheet
