Sooke Harbour House is seeking a talented and motivated Chef de Partie (CDP) to join our culinary team as we enter an exciting current chapter.Located on the edge of the Pacific Ocean, Sooke Harbour House has long been known for its commitment to seasonality, sustainability, and unforgettable dining experiences. This is an opportunity to be part of rebuilding and redefining a legendary culinary destination.About the RoleAs a Chef de Partie, you will take ownership of an assigned section within our kitchen and play an important role in both preparation and service.You will work closely with our culinary leadership team to ensure your station is organized, properly prepared, and executing consistently to our standards. This role is suited to an experienced cook who is confident working independently during service while also contributing to the organization, communication, and success of the broader kitchen team.Key ResponsibilitiesTake ownership of an assigned kitchen station and ensure it is prepared and service-readyPrepare and execute high-quality dishes consistently according to recipe and presentation standardsComplete daily mise en place and maintain appropriate prep levels for upcoming servicesButcher, portion, and prepare fish, meat, seafood, and other ingredients as requiredPrepare sauces, reductions, garnishes, and accompanimentsSupport daily features and seasonal menu executionMaintain strong organization, cleanliness, and efficiency throughout preparation and serviceMonitor product quality, freshness, rotation,
