join our best-in-class team.What Is the OpportunityThe Specialist, Total Rewards will be responsible for supporting the execution and development of compensation strategies and programs. The role provides an chance to gain experience and work on other aspects within the Total Rewards domain. Reporting to Manager, Total Rewards, the incumbent will also assist in developing, implementing, improving and supporting programs, processes and tools to help achieve department’s strategic objectives.What You'll Do HereSupport Manager, Total Rewards in designing, building and communicating enterprise-wide compensation policies, programs and processesSupport and manage broad-based pay analysis, job framework, incentive plan design, compensation surveys, market pricing, job documentation, job evaluation and pay equity analysisSupport annual compensation processes programs including the Annual Salary Review, Short-Term Incentive plan (STIP), and others as requiredAssist in administration of Executive Long-term incentive plan (LTIP) and broad-based equity programsPlan and manage delivery of Total compensation summary project annuallyResponsible for administration of Total Rewards documentation (guides, FAQs, forms, etc.) ensuring it is relevant, current and easily accessibleIdentify opportunities to streamline and modernize existing compensation practices to ensure external competitiveness and comply with regulations or legislationSupports organizational compliance with all relevant compensation legislations in Canada and USDevelops, monitors, updates and communicates project schedules of track tasks, deadlines and milestonesSupport and maintain a thorough understanding of Total Rewards policies and practices and support internal and external pension and benefits design,



practices and policiesSupport in implementing and ongoing maintenance of HRIS system for compensation programs and processesPreparation of presentations and special reports as requiredSpecial project assistance as requiredWhat You Bring to The Team5+ years of progressive compensation experience with good understanding of compensation principles and legislation and a college or university degreePrior experience in labor market surveys, HR practices and compensation cycle managementWorking knowledge of job evaluation and job analysis systemsAdequate knowledge of current labor regulations and legislation such as Pay Equity, Pay Transparency etc.Familiarity with various types of incentives and benefitsCertified Compensation Professional (CCP) Designation or working towards completionStrong technical skills including advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office products; SharePoint, Excel, etc.Experience working with SAP, SAP Business Objects and Success Factors compensation management is an assetStrong understanding of benefits and pension legislation and compliance/filing requirements is an assetAbility to successfully navigate a fast-paced, complex and changing work environment, while managing multiple and shifting priorities.Strong problem-solving ability and critical thinking skills.Robust ability to collaborate with internal clients and external vendors to achieve the best results and deliver the most valueAct with discretion and confidentialityExcellent organizational and interpersonal skillsExcellent communication skillsThe expected salary range for this opportunity is $85,000 - $100,000 per yearIndividual pay isdeterminedbased on several factors, including work location, education, experience, uniqueskillsand job conditions.
