As the Assistant Service Manager, you will be responsible for managing the performance of the local Service department.As the Assistant Service Manager your key responsibilities will include:Manage the performance and development of the Service Department staff. This includes driving accountability of the team members, staffing the department appropriately and facilitating proper trainingPartner with the Human Resources department on labour related and sensitive personnel issuesContribute to continuous improvement by leading or supporting LEAN initiatives, improving the overall efficiency of the departmentProactively manage the Service fleet as it relates to vehicle purchases, replacements, repairs and maintenanceConduct weekly toolbox meetings with the local Parts and Service teamsWork in partnership with other Internal Business Units to develop and grow key customer accounts while generating recent business and revenue streamsActively addresses customer service issues and customer disputesClosely manage Key Performance Indicators that relate to the Service DepartmentStrategically analyze financial statements, utilizing them as a tool to drive the profitability of the departmentAdvocate and drive compliance on all corporate safety initiatives,
