The salary range for this position is $70,000-$75,000 per year. Actual compensation within this range will be based on a variety of factors,
including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and applicable certifications. This range reflects what we reasonably expect to offer based on current market data.As a Planning Supervisor at Starcom, your role is to provide oversight to the development of media plans that deliver on client objectives, while ensuring that human insights drive business outcomes. You will be responsible to the management of junior team members and ensuring that their deliverables are clear, concise and accurate. You will work closely with your Director to develop and sell through Zenith and Publicis Media solutions to your roster of clients.Starcom has experienced an incredible growth rate over the past years. As the Human Experience company, we are pleased to offer the opportunity to work from anywhere.ResponsibilitiesYou will have ongoing direct client contact for those brands under your specific responsibilityGather and analyze data and human insights to determine the client’s advertising and media needsCreate and present media plans to clientsAnalyze media alternatives and make recommendations as to how to best allocate the Advertising budgetClearly communicate client brand and campaign objectives to the team to ensure insightful and strategic connections plan delivery that bring human connections to lifeProvide guidance to and mentor Media Strategy Planners and Assistants to ensure their successful professional developmentProvide oversight to accuracy,
quality and timeliness of Strategy Planner and Assistants’ workCo‑ordinate with partner agencies and global counterparts to maintain efficient work streamsOversight to financial process – ensuring monthly billing is accurate and complete according to deadlines, ensuring discrepancies are managedPart of the Supervisor role will be to work with the team Director to determine areas of growth for each assigned client: determining appropriate mix of Zenith and Publicis Media offerings, effectively selling through solutionsQualificationsBachelor's degree; degree or concentrationin advertising, marketing, business administration, and communications preferredThree + years of progressive levels of responsibility in media planning, buying and managementExcellent written and verbal communication and presentation skillsStrong negotiating skillsAble to work successfully with teams, handling multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines under pressureDemonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilitiesStrong quantitative skills, including analytical abilities and math proficiencyAbility to effectively utilize media research and reporting resourcesTechnical proficiency, particularly with media systems and MS Excel, Word and PowerPointAdditional informationStarcom is an equal opportunity employer with a solid commitment to diversity and inclusion.
