The successful candidate will play a key role in executing institutional equity orders, providing liquidity solutions to clients, managing trading risk, and collaborating closely with Sales Trading, Research, ECM, Program Trading, and Capital Markets teams. This is a client-facing role requiring robust market knowledge, exceptional execution skills, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume trading environment. Key Responsibilities Execute institutional client orders across Canadian and cross-border equities with a focus on best execution, minimizing market impact, and maximizing performance against benchmarks. Commit and manage firm capital on risk transactions within approved limits,



actively monitoring intraday and overnight exposure. Provide liquidity, pricing, and market colour to institutional clients, partnering with Sales Trading to strengthen relationships and grow wallet share. Manage positions and trading risk in real time, including hedging, inventory management, and P&L attribution. Support ECM transactions, including bought deals, marketed offerings, block trades, and secondary distributions. Coordinate with Program Trading and Electronic Trading to deliver the full suite of execution capabilities, including algorithmic and portfolio-based solutions. Contribute market intelligence, flow observations, and trade ideas that leverage the firm's Research platform and sector expertise. Maintain rigorous compliance with CIRO, Canadian securities regulations, and internal trading, conduct, and risk policies. Identify opportunities to improve execution quality, workflow efficiency, and use of trading technology.
