Our projects are fast-paced, physically demanding, and require individuals capable of performing 10-12 hour shifts with consistency and professionalism. The ideal candidate takes direction effectively while demonstrating the ability to work independently. Civil construction carpentry experience is considered a strong asset.ResponsibilitiesComplete all assigned carpentry duties as instructed, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to take on tasks as project needs evolveConstruct, erect, and dismantle formwork, falsework, and shoring systems for concrete structuresRead and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate layout and execution of carpentry workInstall and strip concrete forms, ensuring proper alignment, bracing, and structural integrity prior to poursFabricate and install wood structures, framing, platforms, walkways,



and temporary structures in accordance with project requirementsPerform layout and measurement tasks using hand and power tools, ensuring work is completed to required tolerances and specificationsCommunicate effectively with supervisors, operators, and fellow crew members to ensure smooth daily operationsCollaborate as a productive team member while maintaining the ability to work independently when requiredRequired Qualifications & SkillsPrevious heavy civil construction carpentry experience is considered a strong assetJourneyman Carpenter certification or Red Seal endorsement is considered an assetMust be physically fit and capable of performing 10-12 hour shifts, with diverse shift schedules including 5/2, 6/1, and 14/7 rotationsAbility to collaborate effectively as part of a team while maintaining the capacity to work independently when requiredDemonstrated willingness to complete and perform tasks as instructed on an as-needed basisFall Protection certification is considered an assetConfined Space certification is considered a strong assetValid WorkSafeBC First Aid certificate is considered an assetCandidates must supply their own personal PPE including a hard hat, safety boots, and high-visibility vest; all additional PPE willbe provided.Local candidates are preferred; however, camp accommodation will be provided for those based outside the area.#indeedsj
