Set up and operate studio lighting, camera equipment, backgrounds, and related photography equipmentFollow established lighting, composition, cropping, and image standards to maintain consistency across the siteStyle and position product accurately and consistently for photographyCapture multiple required angles, details, and product views according to shot lists and e-commerce guidelinesReview images throughout the shoot to ensure focus, exposure, colour, positioning, and overall quality are correctRetouch imagery for final e-commerce use, including but not limited to:Colour correction and color matchingExposure and tonal adjustmentsBackground cleanupDust, marks, and minor product imperfectionsReshaping and compingCropping, alignment, and image consistencyBasic compositing or cleanup when requiredPrepare, name, organize, and export final assets and product image folders according to established file specifications and naming conventionsManage photography and editing efficiently to meet agreed-upon deadlines and asset volumesFlag product, photography, or asset issues proactively when they may impact final deliverables and timelinesCollaborate with the Creative team to incorporate feedback and maintain evolving brand standardsRequirements:Professional experience in e-commerce, product, or commercial photographyStrong product photography portfolio, ideally including footwear, apparel,



accessories, or consumer productsStrong understanding of studio lighting and consistent lighting setupsAdvanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Capture One and/or LightroomStrong retouching skills with an eye for natural, polished, commercially appropriate resultsExcellent understanding of color correction and image consistency, with experience using a colour checker to ensure accurate and consistent product colour across imagesHigh attention to detail, particularly when working across large volumes of similar assetsComfortable working independently and managing your own workflowOrganized and reliable, with the ability to manage files, deadlines, and multiple products at onceAbility to work quickly without sacrificing image quality or consistencyComfortable receiving and implementing creative feedbackFamiliarity with tethered shooting workflowsExperience working in a quick-paced in-house brand or retail studioBasic knowledge of studio equipment maintenance and troubleshootingExperience with high-volume product photography and batch editing workflowsMust have your own professional camera equipment, including camera body, appropriate lenses, SD/memory cards, batteries, chargers, and other standard photography essentials required for a shootMust be experienced and comfortable working with a tethered photography setup, including connecting to and shooting directly into Capture One or a similar tethering workflowComfortable troubleshooting basic camera, tethering, lighting, and studio equipment issues independentlyMust be comfortable working with water during shoots, including tossing or pouring water on products, creating splashes and puddles, and simulating rain or wet conditions as needed for product photography.Comfortable working in a studio environment where photography equipment may be used in proximity to controlled water and rain setups, while following appropriate equipment and studio safety practices
