Yet, for us, this is just the opening act of our transformative journey!Position Job Title: Career Services Workshop FacilitatorStatus: Part-time, on-call position based on workshop scheduling needs; 20 hours per weekLocation: Hybrid, Travel between campus locations required. Delivery of in-person workshops; occasional virtual delivery may be requiredReports To: Regional Career Services ManagerThe purpose of the Career Services Workshop Facilitator is to deliver high-quality, standardized Career and Employment Strategies (CES4) workshops that prepare students for successful entry into the workforce. Through engaging, applied instruction, the Facilitator equips students with practical skills in resume and cover letter development, job search strategies, networking, interviewing, and professional etiquette. Under the supervision of the Regional Career Services Manager, the Facilitator is responsible for delivering a four-day workshop series across multiple campus locations and programs. This role plays a key part in supporting student employment readiness and contributing to the College's overall graduate employment outcomes.Specifically, the Career Services Workshop Facilitator will be responsible for:Delivering engaging and interactive CES4 workshops across a variety of programs and campusesTranslating career development concepts into practical, real-world applications for studentsAdapting workshop delivery to suit diverse student populations and industry-specific expectationsSupporting student readiness for employment through applied learning activities and coachingCollaborating with Career Services and campus teams to ensure consistency and quality of deliveryActing in a manner that upholds the College's standards and commitment to student successOther related duties, as requiredThe Career Services Workshop Facilitator will at various times be responsible for the following,



as well as other related duties assigned to support the business objectives and purpose of the Company:Facilitating a structured four-day (5 hours per day) CES4 workshop series covering:Resume DevelopmentCover Letter WritingJob Search StrategiesNetworking TechniquesInterview PreparationProfessional EtiquetteCreating an engaging and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and skill developmentUtilizing a variety of instructional techniques including group discussion, practical exercises, and real-world scenariosEnsuring consistent delivery aligned with College curriculum, standards, and outcomes2. Adapting Content to Diverse Programs and Student Needs by:Tailoring workshop examples and coaching approaches to reflect the needs of various disciplines (e.G., healthcare, legal, business, trades, technology)Demonstrating an understanding of industry-specific hiring practices and expectationsSupporting students in translating their program-specific skills into relevant employment applicationsAddressing varying levels of student readiness, confidence, and experience3. Supporting Student Employment Readiness by:Coaching students in developing effective, targeted resumes and cover lettersGuiding students through job search planning and executionProviding feedback on interview skills and professional presentationEncouraging accountability and engagement in the job search process4. Collaborating with Internal Teams by:Working closely with Career Services staff and campus leadership to coordinate workshop deliveryCommunicating student progress, challenges, and feedback to appropriate stakeholdersContributing to continuous improvement of workshop materials and delivery approaches5.



Maintaining Quality and Compliance Standards by:Ensuring all workshops meet internal quality standards and external regulatory expectationsMaintaining accurate records of workshop delivery and attendance as requiredRepresenting the College in a professional and consistent manner across all campuses6. Acting in a Manner that Upholds the College Standards by:Demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and respect in all interactions with students and staffUpholding all College policies and proceduresMaintaining a high standard of instructional quality and student engagementExhibiting strong interpersonal and communication skillsEducation and Experience:Diploma or certificate from a recognized University or College in a relevant discipline (Degree preferred).Two years' experience in a related field, such as workshop facilitation or employment counselling or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in a high-paced, target driven workplace.Keep records of all conversations in our systems in a comprehensive way.Meet team qualitative and quantitative targets.Skills and Abilities:Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with individuals from a variety of backgrounds and cultures.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Strong oral and written communication skills.Strong ability to multi-task.Excellent leadership and management skills.Working knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.Ability to develop networks and maintain contacts within the business community.Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.Track record of over-achieving quota.Familiarity with CRM systems and practices.Good judgment and ability to prioritize assignments.Ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm focus during hectic periods.Ability to reach both quarterly and yearly goals consistently.Understanding of the strategic plan, programs and services provided by the College.Ability to exhibit a professional attitude and image with a commitment to quality service.#dmnd
