Our client, a respected and community‐focused organization based in Halifax, NS, is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join their team on a 2‐month contract. This role is based in the downtown Halifax office and offers an excellent opportunity to support a stable payroll function during a transition period.Reporting to the HR team, this role is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of semi‐monthly payroll for approximately 200 Canadian employees.Compensation & BenefitsCompensation: $25 – $30/hour2‐month contract with potential for an extension.Fully On‐site Role at Client's Halifax, NS Office.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess semi‐monthly payroll for ~200 employeesMaintain accurate payroll records (earnings, deductions, benefits, adjustments)Handle employee changes (recent hires, terminations, salary updates)Ensure compliance with Canadian payroll legislationReview payroll reports and resolve discrepanciesRespond to employee payroll inquiriesSupport reconciliations and basic reportingUse ADP Workforce Now, Excel,
