Food Preparation & Food HandlingAssist with the preparation of meals, and serving mealsFollow residents' diets and food preferencesTake the menu orders from the residentsSet and clear tables in the dining rooms and ensure they are sanitizedEnsure you are following proper food handling techniquesWho You AreHave a valid Safe Food Handler's Certificate or willing to obtainYou are committed to providing compassionate support that provides seniors to live their lives to the fullestYou are detailed-oriented coupled with strong customer service skills enabling you to effectively communicate with residents and staffYou may bring experience in food service from institutional, healthcare, restaurant, or hospitalityWhile possessing a Food Service Worker Certificate would be excellent, it's not a requirementAll applicants must successfully pass the prescribed Vulnerable Sector Check.
