The employee will be frequently on the forklift and using other mobile equipment.Responsibilities, Duties and TasksWorking under the direction and supervision of the Foreman and Lead Hand, your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Responsibilities, Duties and TasksWorkplace SafetyPractices safety in the work place at all times to ensure he or she does not endanger oneself or othersComplies with all safety rules and practices as set by Occupational Health and Safety, WBM and any and all other relevant safety regulations and requirementsCustomer ServiceFollows verbal instructions or reads specifications to thoroughly understand the project before commencing any work orderEnsures the project meets the full satisfaction of the customer,



within the time span expectedCompletes the project carefully, without unnecessarily wasting material and/or resourcesOperational DutiesRead and interpret blue prints to ensure the correct parts are sorted appropriatelyFollow work order directions and instructions given by supervisorMaintain and organize areas, tag parts, store and locate partsMove parts and finished products to/from departmentsOperate forklift, jib/overhead crane to facilitate movement of parts/productsPerforms other duties as requiredQualificationsNote: Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.EducationHigh school diplomaExperienceOne year of experience in a manufacturing environment is an assetForklift, crane & rigging experience and/or certification is preferredKnowledgeIn-depth knowledge of safety practicesKnowledge of production flow and efficienciesSkillsStrong ability to read blue prints, understand work orders and directionsExcellent communication skills – verbal and written, clear and conciseInterpersonal skills, able to work collaboratively and cooperatively with othersStrong multi-tasking and organizational skillsOur employees are the lifeblood of WBM.
