The HCA works to full scope of practice and engages in education and certifications to maintain competency. Person-centered care is provided according to established standards of practice, including but not limited to, Accreditation Canada Standards, Personal Care Home Standards, and legislative requirements.The incumbent exercises the appropriate level of initiative and independent judgment in determining work priorities and work methods to be employed.
