Help maintain a welcoming environment as a Housekeeper in our Retirement facility. This role focuses on delivering exceptional housekeeping support to enhance our residents' quality of life.
As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for daily cleaning and laundry duties within resident suites and shared spaces. We are looking for candidates with 1-2 years of housekeeping experience who possess excellent communication skills and a team-oriented spirit. Flexibility to work shifts and weekends is crucial in ensuring we maintain service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct general housekeeping and laundry tasks
• Ensure all areas are clean and orderly
• Complete timely service in resident and common areas
• Undertake additional duties as directed
• Help maintain a supportive community atmosphere
Requirements:
• 1-2 years’ experience in a housekeeping role
• Ability to meet physical demands of the job
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Previous experience in a long-term care setting beneficial
• Familiarity with W.H.M.I.S. and CPR/First Aid certification
