Early Childhood EducatorSummit Community Services Society (SCSS) seeks an enthusiastic ECEA to join our team. We are posting for a position at Second Steps Daycare for an ECEA for 40 hrs per week to cover a maternity leave with the option to extend. The candidate will practice according to IHA's child care licensing regulations, the ECE code of ethics and the BC Early Learning Framework. The successful candidate will plan, lead, and guide activities throughout the day, such as reading, physical activity, and creative expression through art and song.KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Plan, carry out and evaluate developmentally appropriate activities and experiences for children 3yrs - school age; to encourage independence and growth in all areas of the children's social, emotional and physical development.Work in collaboration with co-educators.Maintain open,
