STRAND IS LOOKING FOR A LEASING MANAGERStrand is currently seeking a Leasing Manager to join the residential lease-up team of an upcoming purpose-built rental building in Vancouver, British Columbia. self‐starter attitudeAbility to adapt to agile environmentsProven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenMust be able to work weekendsExperience working with Yardi, RentCafe, and Lasso is considered an assetDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESThe duties and responsibilities of the Leasing Manager include, but is not limited to, the following:Act as the main point of contact for prospects via email, phone, and building- and suite-specific toursProvide daily update reports to the team and communicate regularly with the Senior Property Manager and Marketing ManagerProvide recommendations on marketing and leasing strategiesWork with the Leasing Coordinator to achieve full building occupancy in a timely mannerPrepare and execute leases in accordance with our property standards and regulationsConfirm rental application data and personal referencesConduct credit checks and other background tasks to qualify potential tenantsNegotiate leasing terms and conditions and close dealsCollect application fees, security deposits, pet deposits, etc.Manage the assignment of parking stalls and storage lockers
