Engineering Technician Location: Saint-Laurent, Quebec - (Hybrid) Pay Rate: $38.66/hr Contract Length: 12 Months We at Raise are hiring an Engineering Technician for one of our top clients. Responsibilities Product validation : Prepare test procedures, execute tests, and document test results for the MAD-XR product (magnetic anomaly detection) and associated equipment. Production validation : Develop Subject Matter Expertise on production test process. Identify and participate in the delivery of improvements to the test process and tools. Troubleshoot Production failures : Support Inspector Technicians in the troubleshooting of MAD-XR sensors that fail production tests. This may include autonomously conducting troubleshooting tests on the sensor and its subcomponents when necessary. Project documentation : Participate in the production of customer deliverable technical documentation package, including test procedures to verify project requirements. Initiatives : Support various initiatives to enhance product reliability and mission success. Experience College Degree in Electronics Technology 5 years of experience. Experience in validation of electronics systems from test plan definition to documentation of test results Experience troubleshooting electronics systems. Experience using oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies, signal generators and data acquisition systems.



Experience performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions to permanently address issues. Experience integrating electronics and software components is an asset. Experience with production at scale workplace. Ability to identify initiatives to increase production efficiency. Ability to analyze test data and identify trends affecting product quality and manufacturing yield. Ability to leverage datasets using Python for this purpose is an asset. Strong technical writing skills and ability to document tests, investigations and engineering recommendations.
