Active Start is hiring a Van Driver for our Out of School Care in Calgary's Seton area. This role requires previous driving experience and a passion for engaging with children.
The Van Driver will play a crucial role in transporting children safely and supervising them during activities. Candidates should possess a Class 4 driver’s license, with childcare experience viewed favorably. Solid communication skills are vital for cultivating positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues at the center.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive groups of children safely to school
• Supervise during all pick-up and drop-off activities
• Engage children actively during field trips
• Foster positive relationships with children and families
• Adhere to Alberta child care regulations and policies
Requirements:
• Must have a valid Class 4 driver's license
• Previous daycare or childcare experience is beneficial
• Level 1, 2, or 3 Child Care Certification preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Must pass a criminal record check
