In-home caregiver – private home – JoTo… family

Terms of employment: This job is for a full-time position, between 30 and 40 hours per week. Versatile / Split shift work schedule is required. Weekend work may be required. Job start is September 1, 2026.

Language requirement: French or English.

Salary: Wage offered is between $17 and $19 per hour.

Location: JoTo… lives in Westmount, Quebec. The home is situated in a residential neighbourhood, school and parks are nearby. The city bus is easily accessible and is close by (bus #24). The major intersection is Sherbrooke and Claremont Ave.

Duties may include:

- Help with the care of three children aged 8 years old, 6 years old, and 1 year old. Children’s mother suffers from a chronic medical condition, and family needs help at home. Duties do not include care for the children’s mother.
- Supervision of children when parents are not at home, and take the children to and from appointments.
- Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts,



reading and outings to provide amusement and exercise.
- Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents.
- Bathe children as needed. Change diapers, dress, and feed the two youngest children.
- General housework that will include doing laundry and some ironing.
- Dusting rooms to ensure a clean environment.

Qualifications:

- Must have completed at minimum Canadian equivalent of secondary school education.
- Must have at least one year of work‑related experience as a caregiver.
- Must be dependable, hardworking, independent, and able to manage the job without supervision.
