We're looking for an experienced Field Manager to lead our landscape maintenance teams, ensuring our crews have the support, training, and direction they need to deliver exceptional work.This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys being in the field, developing people, solving problems, and making sure our clients and sites receive the highest level of service.What You'll DoField Leadership & QualityOversee daily field operations and assign goals and priorities to crewsEnsure maintenance work meets Horizon's quality standards and contract requirementsConduct regular site visits and quality control inspectionsSupport monthly planning and ensure crews are meeting schedules and expectationsAddress labour, scheduling, and site concerns as they ariseTeam DevelopmentLead daily morning meetings and regular crew communicationsTrain and onboard new Foremen and field staffSupport performance reviews, coaching, and disciplinary processesAssign and follow up on training and development opportunitiesCreate a positive, supportive, and accountable team environmentClient & Operations SupportMaintain regular communication with clients and address site concernsProvide updates on site progress and expectationsSupport communication between field teams and managementEnsure reporting, site photos, forms, and documentation are completed accuratelyOversee vehicle, equipment,



and inventory condition and ensure required inspections are completedWhat You'll Bring5+ years of progressive experience in the landscape industry2+ years of supervisory or leadership experienceExperience driving a truck and trailerStrong understanding of landscape maintenance, contract scopes, and specificationsAbility to read landscape drawingsExcellent communication, customer service, and relationship-building skillsStrong organizational and time management abilitiesComfortable using Microsoft Office, Adobe PDF, iPhone applications, payroll software, and iPadsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesA natural ability to coach, lead, and bring out the best in othersPost-secondary education in an industry-related field and certifications such as Red Seal, CHT, CLM, ISA, Heavy Trailer Endorsement, or Fall Protection are considered assets.$65,000–$75,000 annual salary based on experience20 days paid time off (15 vacation + 5 sick days)Extended health, dental and vision after 90 daysRRSP matching after 1 yearCompany vehicle assigned as availableCompany tech package including laptop and cell phone/tabletThis role combines office and field work.
