This is a hands-on, senior finance role at a growing construction and restoration company - you will be the financial backbone of the operation, working directly with ownership and the operations team to ensure every project is tracked, every dollar is accounted for, and the books are clean, current, and audit-ready.If you have a solid construction or renovation accounting background, know QuickBooks inside and out, and take pride in a well-run finance department - this role is for you.Key responsibilities:Process payroll accurately and on timeManage full-cycle accounts payable - verify, process, and pay supplier invoicesPrepare, process, and track accounts receivable and client invoicingPrepare and submit monthly government tax remittances - DAS, GST,



QSTRecord all cash receipts and maintain accurate general ledger entriesMaintain an orderly and up-to-date accounting filing system in QuickBooksMonitor project-level budgets and ensure margins are being respected across active jobsPrepare month-end financial reports and support year-end audit processWork closely with project managers to track job costs against estimatesSupport the operations team with financial data as neededMust-haves:Minimum 5 years of bookkeeping or full-cycle accounting experienceQuickBooks proficiency - Online and/or Desktop (non-negotiable)Fully bilingual French and English - written and spokenExperience with GST/QST filing and DAS remittancesStrong Excel and Microsoft Office skillsAbility to manage multiple files simultaneously and meet tight deadlinesHigh attention to detail and professional demeanourStrong assets:Experience in the construction, renovation, or insurance restoration industryExperience with job costing and project-level budget trackingPrior experience in a controller or accounting manager roleFull-time, permanent, in-person - Dorval, MontrealOn-site parkingDirect access to ownership and senior leadershipStable company with 25+ years in operation and a growing pipeline
