In this full time role, you will provide peer support that enhances tenant resilience and promotes independent living.Working within the Permanent Supportive Housing Program, you will leverage your lived experience to establish trust and connection with tenants facing significant mental health and substance use challenges. Your role is critical in guiding individuals towards achieving their personal goals and fostering community ties,



contributing to their overall success.Key Responsibilities:Provide peer support aligned with best practicesAssist tenants in navigating housing and community resourcesCo-facilitate educational and support group sessionsParticipate in program development and evaluation effortsMaintain accurate documentation of tenant interactionsRequirements:Required lived experience of substance use disorder and recoveryMinimum of one year in community-based support servicesRelevant post-secondary education an assetValid G Driver's License and ability to transport participantsCertification in First Aid/CPR and Food Handlers preferredChannel your caring nature into making a lasting impact in the community.
