Extensive safety protocols and procedures have been put into place and are mandatory.In this role you will:Perform biomechanical, fitness, and functional assessments under the mentorship and direction of a physiotherapistDesign, implement and supervise graded exercise, work conditioning and/or work hardening programsPerform biweekly reassessment of client progress through functional testingRecord functional and subjective findings in client charts on a regular basisWork cooperatively with clients to set and achieve functional goalsConduct group orientation and education lectures and regular one-on-one education to clientsComplete functional components of reports for initial, progress and dischargeEnsure return to work plans with client and employer have been made and documented in the client chartQualificationsGraduate of university Kinesiology degree program2+ years of experience considered an assetRegistration with the appropriate Provincial governing body for Kinesiologists is requiredInterested in learning more?
