Senior Civil Engineer, Water and Sewage SystemsJ.E. Anderson & Associates is looking for a full-time Senior Civil Engineer based in Campbell River, BC.Reporting to the management and partnership team, you will play a pivotal role in co-leading the Campbell River office while providing expert guidance on sewage and water system design across projects on Vancouver Island.In this position, you will be primarily responsible for overseeing civil engineering projects from concept to completion, with a focus on community water and sewage systems, while supporting the growth and success of junior staff and contributing to the leadership of a small, high-performing team.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Co-leading day-to-day operations of the Campbell River office alongside a skilled surveyorDesigning sewage and water systems, including community-scale and advanced treatment systemsManaging land development projects including rural subdivisions, site servicing, and frontage improvementsLeading project proposals, cost estimates, reports, and schedulingSupporting and mentoring junior engineers, EITs, and technical staffCollaborating with teams in Nanaimo, Parksville, and Victoria on multidisciplinary projectsLiaising with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure quality project deliveryContributing to client relationship development and business growth initiativesTo qualify, you will need to be a Professional Civil Engineer in good standing with, or eligible for registration with, Engineers and Geoscientists BC (EGBC) and hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. A minimum of 5 years of experience designing sewage and water systems will also be essential,
