Jim Pattison Lexus Victoria is seeking a knowledgeable, personable, and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team. As the main point of contact for Service customers, you'll help ensure a smooth and qualified experience from check-in to vehicle pick-up.You'll work closely with customers, Service, and Parts teams to understand vehicle concerns, recommend services, and provide clear updates throughout the repair process.Previous Service Advisor or automotive customer service experience is an asset, with opportunities to grow your career within a well-established automotive group.Schedule : This is a full-time, permanent role of 40 hours per week. The regular schedule may vary depending on the dealership's requirements.A Day in the LifeGreet Service customers and ensure the customer's needs are fully understoodPromptly and professionally answer incoming calls to the Service departmentAccurately document all vehicle concerns onto Repair Orders and sell repairs and services to customers based on their needsPrepare accurate quotes for recommended services and obtain customer approvals for repairsAct as the liaison between the customer, the parts department, and the Automotive TechniciansEnsure customers are kept informed about the status of their vehicle, any additional recommended repairs that may be found, and wait timesManage customer complaints respectfully and promptly; elevate concerns when appropriateConduct vehicle inspection walk-arounds before and after service appointmentsMaintain a tidy, presentable work spaceEnsure a high degree of confidentiality with company and customer informationParticipate in maintaining a supportive and engaging working environmentOther administrative duties as assignedWhat We're Looking ForA valid BC Driver's license is required,
