Terrain Group is looking for a Fleet Manager / 310T Licensed Mechanic to take ownership of the maintenance, repair, and day-to-day management of our company fleet.This is a hands-on working leadership position. You will spend your time actively diagnosing and repairing trucks and equipment while also planning preventative maintenance, coordinating repairs and parts, maintaining service records, and ensuring the fleet remains safe, reliable, and operational.Our fleet includes pickup trucks, triaxle trucks, skid steers, excavators, dozers, rock trucks, trailers, small equipment, and various tools.We use AI-assisted tools to help identify and match applicants to our open roles. This may include reviewing resumes and suggesting potential matches. All final hiring decisions are made by humans.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical issues on trucks and heavy equipmentPerform preventative maintenance and scheduled servicingComplete Ontario MTO annual safety inspections on heavy-duty trucks and trailersConduct regular fleet inspections and safety checksPrioritize urgent repairs to minimize equipment downtimeMaintain accurate maintenance and service recordsMonitor fleet condition and identify potential issues before they become major repairsCoordinate ordering and management of parts, supplies,
