About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Construction Project Coordinator to join their fully remote team. This role is integral to supporting project managers in the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects. You will manage documentation, coordinate communications, track project progress, and provide administrative support, all from your home office. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail to contribute to successful project outcomes in a flexible, remote working environment, supporting projects across the Northern Cape and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist project managers in the development and maintenance of project schedules and budgets.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, drawings, permits, and reports, ensuring they are organized and accessible.
- Coordinate communication between project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients via email, phone, and video conferencing.
- Track project progress and milestones, identifying potential issues and reporting them to project managers.
- Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items from project meetings.




- Support the procurement process by managing RFIs, submittals, and change orders.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Project Coordinator or in a similar administrative role within the construction industry.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency in project management software and standard office applications (MS Office Suite).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in a remote setting.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with construction terminology and processes is a significant advantage.
