The City of Guelph seeks instructors committed to delivering comprehensive skating lessons tailored for children, youth, and adults. This position focuses on enhancing the skating experience while encouraging participants of all abilities to thrive. Collaboration with fellow instructors and ongoing communication with the Recreation Coordinator will be key to ensuring success and inclusivity in the program.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach fundamental skating skills in small groups
• Collaborate closely with the Learn to Skate team
• Maintain an inclusivity-driven workplace on the ice




• Create an engaging and fun learning experience
• Attend necessary training and team meetings
Requirements:
• Proven experience in recognized skating programs
• Knowledge of teaching various skill levels
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Valid CPR Level C and Standard First Aid
• Police Record Check including Vulnerable Sector Check
