That's the KGS way.The RoleReporting to the Controller, the Accounting Clerk will support the day-to-day accounting functions for all offices across Canada and the U.S. This role combines responsibilities in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and client invoicing. You will work closely with project managers, clients, vendors, and the accounting team to ensure timely, accurate processing of invoices, payments, collections, and billing activities.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess accounts payable invoices and ensure timely vendor paymentsResearch and resolve invoice discrepancies with vendors and project managersProcess employee expense claims and paymentsMaintain vendor and client recordsPrepare and issue client invoices and maintain accounts receivable recordsRecord financial transactions accurately in the accounting systemFollow up on outstanding client balances and payment discrepanciesWork directly with project managers to ensure invoices are issued accurately and within established billing cyclesMaintain accurate client billing information and respond to billing inquiriesSupport process improvements and new billing proceduresMaintain confidentiality of client and company financial informationBuild effective relationships with clients, project managers, department heads, vendors, and internal stakeholdersSupport audits and provide required documentationAssist with other accounting duties and projects as assignedGenerate reports and provide support to the Controller and accounting teamEnsure Compliance with company policies and accounting proceduresPerform general administrative duties related to the finance functionAbout YouRecent graduates of the Red River College Business Administration - Accounting program or equivalent experience in an accounting role involving accounts payable, accounts receivable, and invoicing are encouraged to applyExperience with ERP/accounting software; experience with Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint is considered an assetProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and OutlookStrong analytical, problem-solving, and analytical skills are requiredExcellent attention to detail and accuracyAbility to prioritize competing demands and meet deadlinesResults-driven and in alignment with the KGS culture and valuesExcellent organizational, interpersonal and communications skillsDetail-oriented, adaptable and able to manage multiple prioritiesComfortable with technology and enjoys problem solvingAbility to work independently and part of a teamKGS Group is an employee-owned equal opportunity company offering an excellent total compensation and benefits package for employees.KGS Group is dedicated to fostering an inclusive, respectful and accessible workplace.
