About the UniversityThe University of Niagara Falls Canada (UNF) is a digitally oriented institution located in historic downtown Niagara Falls, Ontario.PositionTitle:Assistant Professor – Finance HBBALocation:Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada (Onsite)Work Arrangement:Onsite hybrid, minimum 3 days per weekReports To:Associate Dean – HBBAMinimum Hiring Salary:$93,000 per yearQualificationsA Ph.D. in Finance, Financial Economics, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.A Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related discipline from accredited institutions.At least five (5) years of professional experience in the financial industry.At least five (5) years of experience teaching Finance or Financial Management courses in a post‑secondary setting, preferably at graduate level.Subject matter expertise in corporate finance, financial modeling, investment analysis, and risk management.Preferred: CFA, CPA, or another recognized professional finance designation.Industry experience in banking, investment, FinTech, financial analytics, algorithmic trading, or AI in finance is an asset.Demonstrated ability to integrate practical applications and case‑based learning into teaching.Prior graduate‑level teaching experience in MBA or Master of Finance programs is highly desirable.ResponsibilitiesTeach graduate‑level Finance courses in both online and in‑person dual modalities, delivering flipped, traditional, and applied learning activities aligned with graduate expectations.Contribute to course development and continuous program improvement, refining content, learning outcomes, assessments, and resources.Supervise applied projects, capstone experiences, and experiential learning opportunities,
