Source Office Furniture is looking for a hands‐on, people‐first Store Manager in our Calgary, AB location to lead, coach, and develop a high‐performing team.About The RoleThe Store Manager is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the store and creating an exceptional experience for both customers and employees. This includes overseeing opening and closing procedures, maintaining strong product knowledge, and providing ongoing coaching, guidance, and development to the store team.As a hands‐on leader, the Store Manager is responsible for managing the many facets of the business in a fast-paced, competitive environment. supportive environment that values leadership and accountabilityWe ProvideOpportunity for professional growthCompetitive Base Salary + Incentive100% paid health and dental benefits plan after a successful 3-month probation, including a $250 Health Spending AccountEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Employee discounts on our productsWhat You'll DoStaff ManagementSupervise and direct the activities of employees, ensuring excellent customer service and the development of team membersMonitor local competitors and help acquire new business through networking activities both inside and outside the store locationCreate a sales culture that increases sales, fosters and develops a consultative selling setting and improves customer serviceWork collaboratively with HR for recruitment, onboarding and offboarding processes.Provide Director of Sales with updates on sales activities as well as updates regarding orders created by sales representativesSales and SupportSupport sales representatives by responding to their inquiries, providing information regarding products and updating them on any changes or developments in the product lineManage the cash out process and oversee the purchasing of merchandiseDistribute requests for quotes from clients to sales representatives and follow-upAssist with sales on the showroom floor by consulting with clients and supporting the sales reps as neededEngage with clients to complete sales in the event of high volumes or staff shortageBack up for Outside Sales Representatives when neededCoordination and AdministrationEnsure that all products found in promotional flyers are displayed on the showroom floor and priced accordinglyManage all administrative duties related to the ordering and transfer of products between locationsProvide authorization for merchandise returnsEnsure pricing on clearance items is accurate and optimally displayedStore OperationsMeet regularly with the Warehouse Manager to maintain a strong understanding of warehouse operations and ensure effective coordination between store and warehouse activities.Work with Delivery Coordinator to ensure we are able to deliver our product in an efficient mannerMaintain third party relationships as it pertains to operations or facilityWhat You Bring5+ years of management experience leading warehouse, sales, administration teamsStrong preference for candidates with prior store management experience in the office furnishing industryLead, motivate, and support employees to achieve strong resultsSet transparent expectations and hold team members accountable for their performanceManage multiple areas of the business and balance competing prioritiesAddress employee concerns and performance issues in a timely and professional mannerBe comfortable having difficult conversations and providing clear, constructive feedbackCoach employees to improve their skills, confidence, and performanceWork closely with other departments to solve problems and keep the business running smoothlyStrong Microsoft Office Suite software skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm.Learn more about us at www.Source.Ca.
