We are proud to offer a progressive, vibrant organization where you can advance your career, master your skills, and grow alongside us.Job SummaryThe Key Account Manager will work directly on developing and maintaining current retail, foodservice and wholesale accounts that coincide with the company's strategic short- and long-term goals. This position is responsible for creating and delivering sales presentations to new and existing customers, attending trade shows, representing the company at various industry functions, and managing prices and margin goals based on the company's strategic plan.Duties and ResponsibilitiesDevelop and obtain business targets through directories, cold calls, internet research and industry tradeshowsDevelop, plan, attend and deliver company presentations to new and existing customersManage entire sales account process; order entry, product allocation, logistics and delivery confirmation; focus on achieving an established goal of increased sales targets by customer and/or regionContribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews and goal settingSetting customer ad lids, contract pricing,



strong market awareness; ability to make quick decisionsMarket driven intelligence regarding competitive pricing, products and packaging innovation and customer demographicsOther core expectations as defined by the companyRequirements and SkillsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales and Marketing or a related field requiredMinimum of three (3) years of proven sales experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required; produce or agriculturalindustry preferredExperience in internet-based programs such as EDI, Retail Link, Food Link, I-Trade requiredProficiency in MS Office, (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) required; ERP or FAMOUS® preferredKnowledge of business and market development, market research and planning, and promotions/advertisingAnalytical skills required; able to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problemsCommitment to high professional ethical standards; qualified presence and ability to work effectively with executives, senior-level management, and high-profile customersStrong organizational and time management abilities that allow projects and goals to be completed on timeExceptional verbal, written,



presentation and communication skills as well as the ability to sell ideas and concepts to various stakeholdersWorking ConditionsHours of work may vary depending on business needs; flexibility required; ability and willingness to travel; must hold a valid passport with no travel restrictionsRole routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone; specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer workCompensation & Advantages: This position offers a starting salary beginning at $90,000 CAD annually, with higher potential placement within the compensation structure based on qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
