Help us raise the expectation of what an agriculture company can be and grow your career with Nutrien and Nutrien Ag Solutions.What You'll Do:Contribute to the timely completion of doubled haploid projects through microspore extractions, embryo plating, subculture/plantlet transfers, ploidy analysis, and doubled haploid plantlet plantingDocument recalcitrant genotypes and record any adjustments in the protocol used to achieve embryogenesisCoordinate marker screening of doubled haploid plantlets with the molecular teamAdhere to quality assurance processes and standard operating procedures to ensure the gene purity of all doubled haploid derived genotypesAccurately label and select donor plants,



tissue culture material, and doubled haploid plantletsComplete data collection according to established proceduresAssist with experiments and maintain, organize, and summarize experimental resultsActively contribute to team activities such as media preparation, equipment maintenance, lab housekeeping, and protocol improvement effortsAs requested, provide support in greenhouse, field, pathology, and molecular lab work activitiesSupport Growth Facilities activities, including harvesting plant material and collecting samples according to established proceduresAssist with routine plant maintenance, including watering, transplanting, labeling, monitoring plant health, and maintaining clean work areasProvide molecular laboratory support by preparing plant samples and assisting with DNA extraction activitiesModel our core value of safety by always utilizing personal protective equipment (PPE) and following safety protocolsEmbrace a safety mindset, committing to protected work practices through Key Daily ActionsDemonstrate willingness and enthusiasm to complete additional tasks to meet business objectivesWhat You'll Bring:Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Biology, or related field is required.
