Together, they provide complete safety solutions—from training and certification to on-site support, including Confined Space Rescue specialists—while covering all staffing requirements.Our client is currently seeking a Health and Safety Advisor to join their team on a full-time, temporary position in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. The preferred candidate will have experience within the mining, construction, and/or industrial industry and a strong understanding of health and safety practices and procedures.Key Responsibilities:Conduct site inspections and recommend safety improvementsSupport supervisors in monitoring and maintaining safety complianceContribute to the creation and maintenance of health and safety policiesEnsure all activities comply with company policies and industry regulationsAssist with or lead audits, inspections,



and incident investigationsProvide safety training and orientation to employeesConduct hazard and risk assessmentsAttend safety meetings and maintain required documentationManage and monitor use of safety equipment and suppliesAnalyze safety data and recommend action where neededPerform related administrative tasksParticipate in health and safety initiatives and projectsQualifications and Requirements:Post-secondary education or training in Occupational Health and Safety, or equivalent experienceMinimum 3-5 years of experience in a health and safety roleSafety designations such as CRSP, CHSC, or NCSO, or currently working toward one (asset)Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) certification, First Aid, CPR, and AED (assets)Willing and able to travel to a remote mine site in Northern OntarioSkills and Experience:Background in mining, construction, and/or industrial safety rolesStrong reporting, documentation, and attention to detailExcellent communication and organizational skillsSelf-motivated and capable of working independentlyProficient with safety management systems and Microsoft OfficeNATT Group of Companies is an equal opportunity employer and encourages candidates of all backgrounds to apply.Job Types: Full time, Temporary, Contract
