Support children’s growth and development as a Level 2 Early Childhood Educator at YMCA Dickinsfield in Fort McMurray, Alberta. This full-time on-site position is crucial to enhancing the learning workplace for kids 0-12.

In this engaging role, you will implement YMCA’s childhood curriculum while facilitating activities that promote social and cognitive growth. You will observe and document children’s behaviors to encourage tailored learning experiences, while ensuring the environment adheres to safety regulations. Establishing strong communication with parents is essential to fostering community relationships.

• Implement YMCA curriculum encouraging holistic development • Lead activities that stimulate creativity and social skills • Observe and document children’s individual growth • Ensure compliance with YMCA and health regulations • Engage with parents for feedback and communication

Requirements: • Experience working with young children preferred • Possess or be working towards Level 2 Child Care Certification • Hold Standard First Aid & CPR – C certification • Obtain Police Information Check • Familiar with tablets and Microsoft Office
