Step into a key role as a Grounds Equipment Operator at the University of Guelph. Operate various machinery and vehicles safely while contributing to the university’s landscape maintenance efforts. This temporary part time position is based in Guelph, Ontario, and runs until May 2027. You will report to the Grounds Manager and engage in various operations, ensuring that the university’s grounds remain well-maintained and visually appealing.

Responsibilities include cutting grass, managing waste, and assisting with installations of necessary outdoor equipment. Key Responsibilities:
Operate mowers, tractors, and snow removal equipment
Cut grass and maintain primary sports fields
Support installation and repair of outdoor furniture
Maintain safety records and equipment checks
Follow university policies and procedures Requirements:
High School diploma (Grade 12)
Valid DZ driver’s license necessary
At least 1 year of machinery operation experience
Excellent communication skills
