Description:

As a Stores I, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks associated with the picking, packaging, shipping and receiving of orders for hospital supplies, equipment and/or food in accordance with established guidelines and standards. You will process incoming requisitions and distribute supplies, complete cart audits for quality assurance and communicate frequently with stakeholders to ensure appropriate and correct quantities of supplies are available. In addition, you will track and report on inventory to ensure over stocking does not occur.

Required Qualifications: Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.



Must be capable of pushing and pulling heavy wheeled carts up to and occasionally exceeding 275 Kgs. Must be capable of walking and or standing for long periods of time. Must regularly use hand and arms to reach, lift, and carry heavy items up to 25 kg.

Additional Required Qualifications: Must be competent in a computerized windows workplace. Must have current and relevant inventory management experience / education. Must be able to read, write and speak English.

Must be competent utilizing Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook. Must be capable of understanding and accurately following complex and detailed instructions. Must be capable of performing basic mathematical functions; possess high standards of accuracy; be detail orientated requiring minimal supervision; reliable; possess solid interpersonal/Customer Service skills, working safely and maintaining confidentiality.

CSA Certified Safety Footwear is mandatory for this position.

Preferred Qualifications: Current experience with Inventory Management software programs, experience with both manual and powered material handling equipment, Experience with CPSM Site Services policies and procedures
